The ServerMatter Server comes with a Windows Virtual Machine inside. Simply put that’s a copy of Windows Professional Edition that any program you need to access in that central location can be installed on.

By far the most common use is to install Intuit QuickBooks upon it. However you can install other programs that require shared network access from a central location.

At that point, anyone needing network access to the program installed on your server can get it.

Additionally, it is now available to anyone you allow from the outside world via something called Remote Desktop Protocol.
